4-Wire oxygen sensor
I'm cleaning up wires and jumper harness wires after previous owner did the mini-me swap but didn't finish completly. Jumper harness, o2 sensor and 3 left over wires not wired into anything.
Now my question is, the o2 sensor has 4 wires. Can anyone tell me how these wires are wired? Thanks.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: 4-Wire oxygen sensor
The factory wiring is as follows:
White = O2 Signal (D14)
Green/White = O2 Ground (D22 or similar logic ground)
Orange/Black = O2 Heater (A6)
Yellow/Black = O2 Power (A25 or switched +12v source)

Orange/Black = O2 Heater (A6)
Yellow/Black = O2 Power (A25 or switched +12v source)

Aftermarket wiring is as follows:
White = O2 Signal (D14)
Green = O2 Ground (D22 or similar logic ground)
Black = O2 Heater (A6)
Black = O2 Power (A25 or switched +12v source)
Obviously it matters - if you get an O2 heater code switch the two black wires around - simple as that.

Re: 4-Wire oxygen sensor
I have a 2001 Honda CR-V. My brother pulled off the oxygen sensor without looking to see which wires matched. Love him but Arrrrr! My Honda wires are candy-striped as (1) green/black, (2) yellow/black, (3)white/black, and (4) solid white. I have a Bosch Universal Oxygen Sensor and it has 2 white wires (Heater), one gray wire and one black wire. I would deeply appreciate it if someone could tell me which wire matched to what.

Bosch Universal Oxygen Sensor.- 2 white wires (Heater & power), one gray wire (ground) and one black wire (signal).
So the you might connect the gray and black first. Start the car and look for AF lamba signal. if ok, now connect one white to one black....and check if you have check engine light?, if not (ok), connect the last white to the last black. If not ok, swap to blacks. good look.
