My DX used to eat oil like crazy. FYI, the dollar store sells oil.
You don't have to disassemble your engine to fix this...you could just replace it.
Actually though, I was surprised at how easy it was to tear the engine down; but I have alot of tools on hand and I have no time constraints, so I guess that's kinda easy for me to say... Also, the engine I tore down was already out, I don't know how hard it would be to actually remove the engine...

replace your v-pac seals. Take off valve cover, on top of the spark plug holes are the v-pac seal's. Thats what you need to replace. total cost around $9

blown head gasket.

blown head gasket.
you have either bad piston rings, or the those seals on ur valve cover aren't in place.
do a compression test and get those seals replaced.

Its most likely the seals on your valve cover. Dont take the spark plugs out until you get the oil out of there. Get an air compressor with theblower attachment, put a rag around the hole and blow the oil out. It takes a while to do it, but you dont want that oil on the tops of your pistons. When you get it all out, replace the o rings on the valve cover before you drive it again. That explains why the oil is in the plug holes, but the smoking is probably your piston rings going(unless you took the spark plugs out and let oil get on top of your pistons.
