1991 Honda Civic DX Sedan ED3
Hello,
I recently pulled the ignition lock cylinder from my Civic. Getting it out was easy, but now I can't get it back in. I did not remove the steering wheel before doing this even though both Chilton and Haines said to do so (I found this out after). It stops about 1 to 3 cm before it is properly seated and the pin is about the same distance back. It appears that the steering wheel lock is in the way, but it is not in the lock position. Do I have to remove the steering wheel and why would it be important to do so? Any suggestion on what may be blocking the cylinder from going back in?
Thanks!
