Default 1991 EF Hatch

So yesterday, after weeks of searching I found a pretty good deal on craigslist. A 1991 hatch in mint condition (minus driver side fender) for $400. The car isn't running right now, we poked around with it. Checking the pressure ( [4] 90lb [3] 120lb [2] 90lb [1] 120lb ) - rotated and fixed the distributor firing order, adjusted the timing, and still nothing. Can't figure it out.. the car cranks and is so close to firing. There seems to be no gas or fuel going through the intake though, so we dropped some gas down the dpfi and still nothing. I think the end result is going to be just pulling the engine and putting a stock D15 in for now, while I search for a b series. Can anyone maybe throw some reasons why it might not roll? My dad thinks the previous owner might have jumped a tooth and bent a valve, but all looked well when we pulled the head. Oh yeah, the car also came with a set of no-name adjustable springs and an 8k HID kit! I'll post some pictures later today.

Well, if its not rusted to hell, that sounds like a good start. if u do a swap, don't waste your cash on a DPFI motor. Have you checked for pressure at the fuel rail? what about spark at the plugs? maybe your coil is shot? doubt its a bent valve - other three cylinders would be trying.
adjustable springs on stock shocks? that's gonna suck.

When you turn on the key does the check engine light come on for a couple seconds and then go out or does it stay on? Can you hear the fuel pump run when the key is first turned to the run position?

So as the original post said, I was looking for a bseries to drop in it - and well I found a jdm b16a. Came with the block, head, intake manny, dizzy. I had to do some searching and did some shady business with a chop shop and picked up an LS cable tranny. Went out and got a DA haftshaft, starter, and the motor mounts. I'll be using a p28 virign ECU; all Im missing now is the jumper harness and engine harness, (obd0 to obd1). Seeing as this is my first swap I under estimated the exact number of mods necessary (ie: b series shift linkage, da axles, etc.) Anyway, enough talking, here are some pics of what Im dealing with as of now.

Engine before the swap.

Engine after the swap.

The pictures are kind of vague, Im taking them in a small garage. As progress continues Ill post more!
