I got an 89 civic 4 door b18 swap obd1.
I recently got another 89 4 door donor car
i swapped out the whole underdash/cabin harness to my 4 door.

Hooked up everything and the fusebox. Turned on the car i saw a flash under my car where my fusebox is at.

found out #12 fuse blew.
put it another fuse there and it blew right there on my face. it sparked.

tried it again with the car off and battery disconnected.
nothing happen, put the battery back on #12 fuse blew again -_-
cant seem to find the prob why its blowing
tried changing the fusebox still the same

Does removing the integrated control unit prevent the fuse from blowing?

Do i remove the whole thing? from the fuse box?
or just disconnect it?

alright ill update when i have the chance..
if it doesnt blow? what would it mean

Took out the integrated control unit. Its still blowing.

Make sure the power for the cig lighter isnt grounded out

alright i checked and its not grounding out.
tried disconnecting it but still blowing

Check the Wht/Blu wire for damage/shorting at the rear of the radio, cig lighter, clock, and interior lights.

cant seem to find the shorting/damaga for this wht/blu wiring.

checked cig and radio none. beside im not running any radio or cig lighter.
As for interior lights is it just the dome light?
only interior light i can think of
