12 pc body kit black widow special edition crx
i am pretty sure that im going to put that new black widow special edition kit on a crx. its went down in price, but im not positive if im going to do it or not yet, does anyone know anything about the kit that isn't mentioned by the company? or anything that i might be unaware of about it?

Saw it at NOPI Nats, if you buy that kit just plan on not being able to change, you have to hack a lot to get it to fit, and you HAVE to get get wider rims or it looks even worse....

I personally like the kit its differents than your typical body kit and I was also thinking about getting it but then common sense took over....First for the price thats quite outrageous I could buy another CRX for the price of it!!
Then also the time and money it would cost to put it on. I called them up and they were talking about a crazy amount of hours that goes into putting it on so with me not having all the time or knowledge for that matter that means I would have to pay someone to put it on which again adds more money.
Then the other thing I was thinking about that kit is going to add quite a bit of weight and well whats the point of a CRX??? A light weight car so by adding the kit your taking away from that which means different handling and well a slower car.
I would personally spend my money in better places than dumping that kind of cash onto that kit but otherwise I have to give them a

The kit is awesome-cept I don't like the hood(already have a Cervini sniper one).
The price to get it put on nicely would be too high.

2500.... yeah i would consider myself somewhat mechanicaly inclined.. or aware at least... but that extent of body work would take a lot of time.... and the weight was a definate issue in my decision... i wonder how much it really adds...

ummm.... the front looks like a new Neon... and the rest looks like a Tiburon... umm.. I think I can hear the CRX screaming in fear and rage from here.
Oh yeah... Does anyone realize that that "thing" that is swallowing that CRX probably doubles its weight?? Geez... wow... uhh... If you wanna be original that's cool... but uh... oh the heck with it, You aren't gonna see another H-T member on the road to give you hell for it, so do it if you want... and don't forget to cut airholes so you can breathe.

just say no.... to kits like that....... please....... i think wide bodies can be awsome, but i am ONLY .... ONLY referring to custom made.... like the orange looking wide body 3g integra that was in import racer....... it was clean and sleek , followed the lines of the car... looked friggen nice..... dont do it if your not going to do it do it right that thing is hideous,......
