Hey guys, I needs some help. My hatch originally didn't come with a cigarette lighter and I purchased one at a junk yard yesterday. Now I'm trying to hook it up. The adapter that came with the cigarette lighter assembly is a two pin and I only saw one spare four pin adapter available behind the radio wires. Is this the correct one to hook it up to? I did and I got no power to the cigarette lighter. Can any of you experienced folks help me out?

just re-wire it. run the white wire to your accessory wire from your radio harness and ground the black wire, your done!

will that also work for the 91 crx si ??? i wanted to fix mine but doesnt work, the little light around it lights up tho.....>

yeah it will work for any car all it needs is a 12v power supply and a ground. the accessory makes it useful because it won't work unless the ignition on. if you want it to work all the time without the key just hook it up to a constant 12v

sometimes they have fuses to the stock cigarette lighter plug i don't remember if mine does though?
