y8 head, y7 intake mani, y8 ecu, iacv question
soo i know about how i have to convert a 3 to 2 wire on the iacv if i use the y8 intake manifold, so my question is if i use the y7 intake manifold, can i just take that 3rd wire out of the ecu and it will stop idleing funny?

nope. you need the y8 intake with a 2 wire iacv (if your car is manual) if its auto the 3 wire will work fine.

If you want to keep your y7 throttle body and three wire iacv, you can use a 96-98 y8 automatic intake manifold. It uses the same setup as the y7.
If you need one, I have one for sale. PM me iff you are interested.
