Default Would an IAT sensor code cause an idle problem?

i have a code saying IAT - intake air temperature sensor, does that cause an idleing problem. because my car is idleing still, after i changed the iacv and the throttle body. any info would be very much appreaciated. thanks

Did you hook it up to a scanner? because I thought it was an IAT but it was a "short blink" which is primary o2 sensor.

When the IAT sensor defective idle speed may be correct, it all depends how much cheating. Damage to the sensor may be affected by the increased combustion of fuel

Please place simple tech questions directly into the thread title - edited.

If you reset the ECU, does the IAT code return? If so, is the IAT plugged in?

Yes it came back on. After I reset it and got it scan. What should I do replace the sensor or?? What ever advice would be of a real help.?

They're not that expensive so why not.

It's about 20 bucks for one so I'ma replace that today. And then we'll See what happens from there on out
