Wiring gods and techies. HELP!!! Parking lights hazards dash light ALL OUT at once!
All my lights except head lights and turn signals don't work. I had a bad tire blow out on the highway and a flap went through the turn signal and ripped out the assembly, bulb, connector and wires. I soldered up new wires and the connector to complete the circuit and they still don't work. The turn signals work but my hazards don't work. I checked the fuses they seem fine. I'm going to recheck them for the 5th time but can this be a ground problem. If so what ground could have loosened from the engine bay effecting all those lights. I need help bas soon PLEASE! This is my only car. I just got laid off so please no bashing about being cheap and getting a manual or mechanic because right now I damn sure do need to be cheap!

better check your wires back past where you fixed them, the blown tire probably stretched them breaking them somewhere in the lighting harness. hopefully it doesn't short out and burn the wires.
i know you said please don't say check your fuses, but just wanted to make sure you checked both the ones under the dash and under the hood, also check relays
look for any stretch marks or bare spots on the wires

did you test the fuses with a test light? that could help isolate the problem. checking them is one thing, testing with a light or volt meter is another.
also, maybe a picture of your soldering job?you probably missed a broken connection or a shabby job.

They're soldered good. Not my first time and I guess if it helps I learned from UTI. But thanks I know it wasn't meant in that way. Yes tested them with a test light. My DMM fuse blew so I can't use that. But I was thinking about getting a t-pin and putting them in the wires checking as far down as I can to see if there is a break in the circuit.

What year Civic? Which turn signal was damaged - front, rear, right, left?
Just some FYIs:
The hazard lights circuit is protected by a hood fuse whereas the turn signal circuit is protected by a dash fuse.
The cluster and taillights are protected by a separate dash fuse(s).

I had a similar problem with some wiring in the dash. There was a small piece of bare wire touching metal, and nothing was turning on. I found it and taped it up and haven't had any problems since then. Might be something like that.

Ok so I got the turn signals working and hazards but still no dash lights and I guess they would be running or parking lights ( when your headlights are on at night). Checked the fuses under dash and hood ( again) feels like the 20th time. No prob there. I managed to finally fix my fans though lol. But I thought I had it when the hazards came on so apparently not.

i do have one more suggestion which may very well be your problem.
check the dimmer switch for the interior lights.
i blew one out before this causing me to have no dash lights
