Window Problems
On my drivers side window when i go to roll my window up all the way it stops w/ like a 1/4 of the way left to roll up and like makes a really hard/loud noise. I tried looking down into the panel and it looks like 3 of the "teeth" if that's what you wanna call it are broken.....my question is would that be the window regulator that i would have to replace or are there other parts i'd need to get????

Re: Window Problems (j0nptw)
same thing happened to me. what i did is take the window apart so its 2 peices. u have to hammer the bolt thing thats in the middle. i then took a screw and a nut throw the hole and tightend it really hard. so far its been working but i need to get another one. just go to a junkyard and buy the whole new assembly. i found one on ebay for 60 bux.

First off...
It's your window regulator. It's really easy to fix and self explanatory once you get the door panel off. There are a few bolts that you have to take off to get the window off of the regulator and then a few more bolts to get the regulator off of the door skin. Take the window off the regulator and pull it out of the door, b/c otherwise if you have tint you will scratch the tint all up trying to get the regulator out. I scratched my tint up doin' it and it was my driver side window regulator. Let us know what happens.
BTW... what year is your car?

Re: Window Problems (EeeJaySixxx)
Finding one at a junkyard isnt always the easiest process. I actually went down to the strip in philly this morning looking for one to replace my bent one (a thief attempted to slim jim my **** and bent it) Anyway, it all depends on what year your car is and how many doors. I got 94 cx hatch and my first mistake was I located one at the yard off a 4 door and it doesnt fit. Im still searching for the one that will fit in my hatch. I also need the rubber window channel gasket that keeps the glass in line. It is a pain in the *** and it is god damn frustrating. Does anyone know if a 2 door regulator is identical to the hatchback one? I need a driverside one and I need the damn rubber gasket....
