Re: why would a front end bounce??
Bald tires and bouncing indicate you have a serious front end problem. Check all the bushings/balljoints-every part of the front end and get an alignment done. My wife's bounces on the drivers side and it's the tie-rods that need to be replaced. Considering you claim you've replaced these parts then it becomes less obvious what the problem is.

The torque mounts will.Check your motor mounts and torque mounts for cracking and/or dry rot. Thats why they thought you couldn't drive 5spd.

The bounce is on one side and not the other??? sounds like bent suspension components then(lower control arms, radius arms, upper control arms).Compare passenger side to drivers side to locate any bent stuff. Radius arms fixed??

Re: why would a front end bounce??
Exactly the same thing im doing. But mine is the clutch. My rear main seals are leaking and its getting oil on the clutch which is causing hot spots on the the disc which is causing grabbing or chattering on the the clutch. I had this problem with my old hatch too and now my sedan is doing it. With almost 200,000 im not suprised at all.
In fact I thought it wold have been doing it earlier.

Nice! Worn out rear main seals, dry rotted torque mounts, bent radius arms... which is it ??Now you have to do the work and narrow down your options.let us know what it was when it's fixed.
