D16y7 Excessive oil consumption
Hey i was just wondering if any of you guys ever had oil problems with a d16y7 ! as soon as my car hit 200 000km it started using a bit more oil !! just to see if someon had a problem !! i got a 97 civic ex

hey a quick question were is the pcv located ? on valve cover ? and wouldent valve stem seal cause this ?

first off is your car burning oil? can you smell it? a blueish tinge out your tail pipe? is it dripping onto the ground? we need more info. anyways a cheap fix for this is to just keep adding oil. your car will run forever if you just keep adding...
common leak points on you engine are the crank seal, dist oring, and oil pan gaskets are very common.

ok pcv is underneath the manifold and is stuck in a black plastic box and has about a 3/8s hose running to the intake mani
on stem seal yes but i wouldnt think so any smoke out exhaust and if so when at start up or all the time have a friend drive behind u and observe
one other thing i notice u said u have an Ex and u have a d16y7 how and why y7s are dx, lx, cx d16y8 is the code for Ex...wont affect diagnosing this prob just wondering
