You can find them all over Ebay... Registering them and getting a US VIN is almost a near impossibility... But there ARE ways... It just depends on how deep your pockets go and what kinda connections you got

the only RHD car legal for importation and use on public roads here in the US is a Skyline. Check the list here:

http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/....html

No Civics, or Integras or any RHD honda on there for that matter. There are some cars that are imported under the table (brought through customs as parts). If you buy one of these cars keep in mind that the seller has broken several federal laws, and you by buying, owning, and driving the car on public roads are also breaking many federal laws. At any time the car could be confiscated by NHTSA (DOT) and crushed or they could require you to export it. You will also have a *HUGE* hurdle to jump figuring out how to register a car like that, as most states now require proof of conformance to all FMVSS's and EPA standards for imported vehicles.

I still dont see why people go all crazy over Right Hand Drive... There is no difference I can see to a LHD car. Its all on preference and unless we have all logged some time on a RHD car or work as a mailman I dont see how you could prefer RHD... Unless you just wanna look cool

Haha, now thats a real USDM RHD. If you are going to get a RHD car, at least get a car that we don't have over here.

I'm currently waiting for arrival of my RHD ... It's a 93+ Honda Delsol EG2 . The car has been on the water for 2 weeks now . I live in Hawaii and speaking with the DMV here , they say I will need Japan title , US temp registration and to take the car to Customs and get an approval . After that they will issue me a US title .
wala legal ...

I'm ordering my car from Option Trading ( http://www.japanese-autoparts.com )
his name is Hiro Ishida ... He requiered 50-75% deposit upfront which was paid . So far his email and phone responses has been pretty good .

My car should be here in 1 1/2 weeks . Once it gets here ill post up on how it goes to get it registered here in Hawaii .

If you anyone wants to buy a car from him email me ...

all you really need in order ot register RHd car..is to meet the SAFETY and EMISSION stuff.....or go to your local CHP and tell them that you constructed the car bottom up and they'll give you a new VIN for your car... and make sure you look nice when you do......like what my friend did....after they check the car they gave him new VIN for the car ...kool CHP thanks to them...
" but some people are just dicks and doesn't want to share anything how they get their **** registered ...but im just trying to help... "
and another thing...(ISELLRIGHTHANDDRIVES)AKA MARK can locate RHD's for you...
hope this help...GOOD LUCK....

your car if you register it will not be federally legal, and will be subject to being confiscated and crushed at any time by NHTSA. I would not go around publicizing that you are importing a car that isn't on the eligibility list. that's great you think you'll be able to register it, maybe you will, but just be careful not to **** anyone off or all it will take is one phone call to NHTSA Safety and Compliance office and your car is history.

the DMV's words were ... " whats the difference with postal vehicals and your RHD car , they both are RHD and are able to drive on the streets as long as its registered in Hawaii "
my car is being brought here in pieces . so its not illigal on how its being brought in . Just so happends the title and registration is being brung along with the car . so if they allow me to reg. it , great . if not ill go the long way around . buy another sol and frankenstein it .
I also know that Hawaii has far less restrictions than any other state that i know of . such as smog , car being customized ect. well see what happends when it arrives . hopefully in 1 1/2 weeks ill post up what happends .

federal law applies equally to all 50 states. if Hawaii lets you register, great, you're still breaking federal law and could get into big trouble. bringing the car in as parts and re-constructing it is against federal law and if customs knew what your plans were they would never clear the parts to you.
