What size speakers in 98 Honda Civic DX?
Two questions, might sound dumb but o'well.
I need to order some speakers.
What size speakers go in the doors ?

6 1/2 in the front and 6x9 in the rear..... same for ej coupes and hatches.

96-00 Hatch got 6x9 in the rear eh... 92-95 hatch got 5.25" if you bought the USDM/CAD speaker option.

It's more than 10 minutes of work. Maybe 15 per side, if you're a professional that's used to doing it every day for a living, but for the kind of person who has to ask a forum what size speakers will fit...

You have to cut out a large section of the mounting hole itself, re-tap for new screw locations, and remove the plastic cup that protects the speaker from weather, then find another way to protect it. Once you do all that, convincing the OEM speaker cover to sit properly over the extra-thick basket of the speaker is...entertaining.
It's more than 10 minutes of work. Maybe 15 per side, if you're a professional that's used to doing it every day for a living, but for the kind of person who has to ask a forum what size speakers will fit...
