I want to purchase a prothane or energy susp. motor mount insert kit for my 96 with a b16 swap, but im a tad confused on which kits to purchase. it clams that the 99-00 si kit vairies from the standard 96-00 kit. Is it the rear mount that is different? I feel like a noob right now but im not sure which kit I need... any insight is appreciated

why not just get Hasport mounts or innovative/avid ?. the only difference would be with the driver side one. the 5th gen civic's share the same mount's as the DC integra's but the 6th gen civic's have a different style.

I have a innovative drivers side mount. I'm looking for an inexpensive way to beef up my rear and tranny mount for now. I'm aware of the 5th gen mount being different. What it's saying on energy and prothane retailer sites is that there's a difference between regular 96-00 mounts and 99-00 si mounts. I thought they were all the same....

all 96-00 civic's use this style(see pic) driver side mounts all the rest are the same.

What you just said is precisely what I thought. I think maybe some retailers must have thier info screwed up then. They are confusing me lol
