Default what dizzy for y8(p2j-6) head on obd1?

I just got a D15b to replace mine that spun a rod and while dressing the new motor up I realized the dizzy would not bolt up, Ive researched and found that a Y8 dizzy will work if i buy a plug adapter from Ebay or I re wire it myself??

Other forums or threads say a 92-95 civic dx dizzy will plug into a obd1 harness and work with vtec?

~~~~~~~ALSO~~~~~~~ is there ANYTHING ELSE im going to run into trying to hook this d15b/y8 engine into my 95 eg hatchback?
please any help is greatly appreciated this is my daily driver and need it running as as possible.
yes, the b7 distributor will work, provided the y8 bolts up to your d15b variant. vtec or non vtec has nothing to do with your distributor.
