WHAT IS THE BEST?
What poduct is the best for cleaning your valve cover completely before painting it? Mine was not painted so i don't need to strip paint...

Why do you want the best just to clean a valve cover? I would say brake cleaner or some Simple Green would clean it plenty. I've painted a few valve covers and all I did was strip the paint, sprayed it down with water and wiped it dry. Paint still holds even under a hot, turbocharged engine bay.

Depends on the valve cover... on my SOHC simple green didn't do ****. Works wonders on the rest engine bay though. to simple green. ^_^
If its the SOHC I think you could just use an SOS pad or something to get it clean, anyone disagree?

i was gonna say brillo pad. but sos works also. it also creates a better surface for the paint to stick too. just make sure u rinse it good.
