Weird idle problem b20z
This is my 1st Honda. I got this crazzy deal on a 95 hatch with a b20z swap that runs with boltons and suspension for $500. The problem is that it idles rough and throws a code 3 for map sensor. I found out that the white/yellow wire that comes from the map which changes to a pink/white wire is cut from the P75 ECU. when I soldered the wire back to the ECU, the car runs worst and throws a code 4 for crank position sensor. I have installed a new distributor(due to the fact that the CKP & CYP is in the OBD1 distributor), went to an MSD external coil, and still no fix...I NEED HELP....B4 I give up and go K series

Replacing the timing belt will have nothing to do with any of your symptoms. They only thing a timing belt replacment will fix is a broken timing belt.
Hacked up cars are never a good deal.

Re: Weird idle problem b20z
Well when I crank the car it sounds like its firing at the wrong time ...like timing is off.....(the same sound you get when you hook up the wrong spark plug wires to the wrong cylinder) its like like a choking sound.it cranks a little then stops & does this this atleast 4 times before it finally starts
