wavering idle
i have a 93 civic hatch with a d15y. i got the car about 20days ago and i found out that the when idling wavers between 1000 rpms and 1500 rpms. the car is not turboed.
at 2200 rpms the needle starts to waver rapidly, almost as if turboed. everything is hooked up and there is no check engine light.
some1 please explain wats going on and how i could fix this problem. thanx

idle air control valve is dirty.......
its located on the back of the intake manifold by the throttle body.....
2-12mm bolts and 2 hose clamps hold that bad boy on..
remove it and spray some brake cleaner of choke & carb clearer through it, let it dry and reinstall it......

jeff, you need to re paint your car. then it will idle correctly...
and learn to use search!
haha
let's work on my car tomorrow. and adjust my rear coils. and figure out what that clunking noise is
