Trying to replace 96DX coupe Driver Window Regulator. HELP
Manual window regulator. driver side, 96 DX coupe.
Does the damn steel crank assembly need to be broken/cut off the regulator to get the old unit out and new unit installed/?

I also need help with this, I'm trying to get that crankshaft for the window roller out of the old one because these new ones do not come with it. Beats me, it's ****en stupid. But these things seems to be welded on..can anyone confirm this?

I'm trying man it's pissing me off. I even cut the welds off with a dremel and it's not budging. Do I gotta pry it off, cut it off, wiggle it out?

well the window regulator is from Oriellys, I'm sure it's OEM spec. Everything looks the same I'm just trying to get that dam window shaft off so I can put it on the new one.

it's for a power window conversion but will explain how to remove the old regulator without damaging anything, it worked for me.

dam it is power windows. I just called Oreillys and asked to confirm, that dumb *** didn't know what I was talking about. Poor customer service, I asked if he can let someone else know or e-mail support to find out. I'm on hold for 10 minutes then he said yes they're power windows then hangs up.

take it back. you have one for power windows. If you need one for maual, go to the junkyard and get one that is OEM.

i got mine from o reillys, same as what you got, it was WRONG and YOURS is WRONG.
they are idiots.
You have to get OEM HONDA and it till have the handle all welded in place and ready to go. its what i had to do.
