Default Wanna go K20 in my 92 eg hatch but dont know where to start???

Alright I have seen this swap so many times over the past few months that I couldnt help but fall in love with it myself...

I wanna know how I would go about doing this swap? Where I would buy the custom mounts, and also all the parts that I need..

Basically if you all can a detailed description of parts that I need to buy to have a k20 would be great!!!!

I really appreciate it!!!

Your best bet if going on K20a.org and look for their authorized Karcepts dealer...

One of the few companies that make everything for the K20 swap... I actually just drove out to the store itself to pick up something for my friends swap...

But im sure if you seen alot of swaps they already told you what you getting into to... K swaps are money pits...

Pray you find a great deal on the motor, trans, axles etc...

But be ready to pay another $2000 on top of that for custom swap parts that MUST be used... im talking bout mounts, A/C eliminator brackets, shifter brackets, Kpro etc...

I guess its worth it but ill stick with my Bseries... Once im turbo ill be running with (if not faster) than a stock Kswap... For less money...

But I just drove his car yesterday and I cant even lie... They are freakin animals...

Good luck...

price it out, not once but a few times. seriously price it out several times. I had interestin the K swaps and was ready to dump the cash until I kept adding it up and all of those little things kept adding up. Seriously its a lot of money for a good K series motor to be put in and running right. I searched and hd it down to every part I needed and the prices. Totalled it up and said I cant do this its too much. I tried to price it out again and yep its expensive. Good luck to ya

go onto k20a.org and search the classifieds. there's always people selling either complete swaps or partial swaps on there. its crazy how after all these years there is still a stigma surrounding k swaps. it CAN be done for less than 7k but it takes time, which a lot of people dont have being that it would be their daily driver. definitely worth it in the end imo. ask anyone that has a k-swap and they'll tell u the same. night n day difference over any b-series. i just bought a car with one already in it.
