Default Using GSR Shock Tower on 95 Civic DX HB?

Im doing a 95 GSR Swap on my 95 Civic DX. Can I use 94-95 GSR Shock tower from the ECU on my 95 Civic DX? I want to make the swap as clean as possible without having any exposure of added wirings showing (VTEC, VTEC Oil, knock, etc). Im thinking about using the 95 GSR engine harness as well. I was told that if i were to do this swap I can also use the shock tower from a 95 Integra GSR so literally this would be a plug and play swap without having any engine harness being cut that leads to the ECU. How do I suppose to add wires to the ECU from the Engine harness?

... the wires from the shock tower go alot more places than just the ECU, they also run behind the dash & to the service connector and a few other places, i believe head lights as well. just do the wiring properly. keep what you got. don't hack it up too much.

just keep the the stock civic shock tower, there's some thread in the FAQ section that shows you how to run your v-tec and knock through your shock tower..no matter what your gonna have a plug on the shock tower that goes nowhere, i just went to the junkyard found a plug that would fit it, cut bout 6 to 8 inches worth of wire along with the plug and just kinda black taped it into the shock tower harness so it looks like it belongs there...

- this would be for your vtec
https://honda-tech.com/forums/hybrid-engine-swaps-18/complete-obd1-b18c1-into-civic-vx-wiring-instructions-644434/
-i used this one to wire in my knock and o2 becasue i have a 92 vx but you can still double check to see if the wiring is still the same for wiring in your knock...make sure you double check the pin outs to see if yours are the same before you start depining the harness..note that if your planing on running a p28 you don't need to have knock hooked up becasue the p28 don't have it..

- this is the obd 1 ecu pin out

hope it helps...gl

If you want the whole thing to be as clean as possible use the following setup:

-GS-R engine harness (or '94 - '95 Del Sol VTEC)
-ECU to shock tower Vtec pressue switch and vtec solenoid wiring pulled from any '92 civic (or if you feel like it pull the whole underdash harness)

This leaves you with having to wire in the IABs and knock sensor, if you use the GS-R harness both the engine harness side of the knock and IAB wiring will already be done, if using the Del Sol VTEC engine harness you will need to add the IAB wiring to both the engine harness and the interior harness.

you will need to splice into the engine harness to lengthen the IAB wiring and knock sensor wiring so it will reach the ECU.

That they do, all the way up to the horn, passenger's side headlight, all the way over the behind the fuse panel on the interior side of things, you have to pull the dash to replace it, actually I seem to recall having to remove the steering column and pedals too.

in other words, my best bet to have the most stock looking engine bay is to use 94-95 Integra GSR engine harness? and add wires to the Civic shock towers that leads to the ECU? so does anyone have the pinout to the shocktowers on the ecu side and engine side?
