un-normal Idle Problem
Now i am farmiluar with the honda and their surging idels when cold and stuff. I have a different surging problem. I have tested 2 different iacv both with different results.
#1 Car idles fine till warmed up, and them it surges.
#2 car surges @ idle and when warm
Now the car is a stock 97 civic dx. I am more uset the 2 wire iacv in the older civic and such, so this newer stuff is a little more comfusing to me. thanks for any help

you mean AB-normal?
Un-normal isnt a word, lol.
Your IACv needs to either be cleaned or replaced. Theres at least 2 post's a day on this, do a search if you are still confused, they arent hard to replace or clean out.
Since you have the d16y7, your IACv is located on the throttlebody itself. Been awhile since i actualy worked on a y7, so i cant remember off the top of my head how hard it was to reach the IAC.
