Trouble removing Fuel Line from Fuel Filter...
I'm trying to replace my fuel filter. The only thing preventing me from doing this is removing the fuel line from the fuel filter. I have a fixed wrench and I've been trying to turn it clock-wise to detach. I know normally you turn counter clock-wise to remove. But since the fuel line is attached from the bottom, I believe you would do the reverse. Thou...considering I haven't been able to budge. I've also tried using a wrench to hold the fuel filter and another to turn the fuel line. But it still didn't budge.
So - any suggestions would be welcomed. And please let me know which way I should be turning it to remove the fuel line.
This image shows how the fuel filter and fuel line connect. Item #49 is a washer that is between the two.
Thanks!

It still goes counter clockwise, if you were to look at it from under the filter. You will need to have a wrench, holding the filter from turning. Then put a little muscle behind it, and crank it loose.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured that I was turning it the wrong way.
I'll give it another try.

He meant that since we remove the filter from ABOVE that he would turn the wrench clockwise when looking from ABOVE.
Turn CLOCKWISE when looking from above

you'll expletive it up turning counterclockwise looking from above
