Hey i have a 96 civic dx i drove it kinda abusing it and after that i have a smell from the engine, smelling like i fried the clutch...the smells been there for about 4 days now does anyone know what the problem is or how i can get rid of the nasty smell? The car drives perfectly fine no grinds or clutch slipping but its just the smell is nasty... thanks if anyone could help me out....

Hmmm... how about you start by changing your tranny fluid!

Put the front end on stands and check whether any oil or fluid is dripping on the exhaust pipe.

I found no fluid dripping on exhaust but i haven't change the tranny fluid yet..could that be the issue? thanks for the help so far
