Tragedy
Well I was driving down a main road and a soccer mom lost control and slammed into the passenger side of my 93 civic EX coupe from a side street. Her insurance company is taking their time and im afraid they might call it totaled. Someone told me the passenger door and the panel behind it are all connected to the frame or something and I probably cant fix it. Anyone know more about this? I dont want to send my beautiful civic to the salvage yard. Thanks.
I was going to put a picture but my camera is dead. For those interested its right about at the midpoint of the car and is just a huge indentation of an SUV. SUCKS.

I dont know where to look like everyones out to screw you and they arent going to give me full retail from a dealer. I like the idea though. Just sucks to have to do this!

Up here, what the insurance does is giving you two options, an amount of money for a write off and you get say, for instance - 5G for your car, or you get 4G and get to keep it.
So if her insurance does the same thing, then take less money and keep your car, then part it out later.

Re: (bestbuy82)
what if you had a shitbox with like $8K into your motor but never told the insurance company about it and your car got totaled but the motor was fine? That would suck, they would take the whole car and sell it to the junkyard and give you like $1000 for the car. Sorry im just talking **** and wasting your thread. to me
