TPS keeps breaking because my motor shakes like crazy
I just recently did a b16a swap in my 96 ek sedan. I haven't replace any mounts but the driver side and need to asap!
so my motor shakes like crazy and the plastic that goes to the plug to my tps sensor broke and then the tps gets disconnected and causes my car to bog and spazzes out like crazy and won't let me go past 2100 rpm.
I am not able to purchase mounts atm since i am low on cash and gotta wait til my next pay check to get them which is not for another two weeks.
What can i do to keep my tps from at least disconnecting and breaking. I was thinking of using gorilla super glue to glue the lil plastic piece back on but idk if that would hold up good enough. This is my daily so I need this car to get to and from work.
HELP PLEASE!!!!

Re: TPS keeps breaking. HELP
The fix is to get new mounts if your engine is shaking that violently. Anything else you do will be a hack job. You could probably use the universal fixit solution; duct tape.

Re: TPS keeps breaking. HELP
As grumblemarc said it would be a hack job but you could extend the wires. This would be a working fix but you really should just get the mounts. You'd be chopping a prefectly good harness and that never looks good.

Re: TPS keeps breaking. HELP
Look at the plug, take note on the order the 3 wires go, unpin and connect straight into the tps. Should work if not go to the junkyard cut the plug off un pin and just swap the plugs.
