Hi,

I have a 1997 Civic EX, bone stock besides SI rims

I believe the stock tire size was 185/65R - 14
I have SI Rims and have falken tires of size 205/50 15

The recommended psi in the manual is 29psi.

What should I be running these tires at, looking for good mpg as its my daily driver

But wouldn't having a different size than the manual affect something?

205 50 R15 is upsized already to be as close a match as to your original tires/rims 185 65 14 thus why your spedo will say 60mph when you're really do 59.something mph

29 psi will be the same in a 14" wheel as it is in a 15" inch wheel. Honestly I put about 30-32 psi in mine. It's all personal preferance.

im about at 30 right now, and my front tires look a little flat, wondering if upping the psi might help

you should be fine with that. But to be safe and for your own education call either a Honda dealership service office or a wheel works or tire shop, just to get thier take on it. Or find a friend who's running the same size wheel and ask them what psi they are running. But personally I wouldn't do anything over 35 psi.

i used to work at oil express and we put the tires at 35psi. thts what mine are at right now, i have 195/50/15s

good thing you didn't work on any cars that have very picky tpms'.

I run 205 50 15's and they're at 29 in front and 32.5 in the back. in the summer i run 32 in front and back.
