Timing belt cover removal
Hi guys, how I am supposed to remove the timing belt cover? Do I need to remove the crankshaft pulley? I hope there is another way. I am in a swap right now and I need to put my 91 left engine mount on the 92 motor. Therefore I need to remove the timing belt cover to have access to the mount bolts.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Timing belt cover removal (DragII)
Do I have to take the engine out to remove those? Or can I do it while the engine is in the car? It doesn't seem like I can do it with the engine in the car, but they don't take the engine out to change the timing belt!

Re: Timing belt cover removal (DragII)
I need to remove the timing belt cover to get access to the bolts securing the mount in place. It seems like I need to remove the pulley to remove the cover. I don't see how I could do all this with the engine in the car. (engine not connected by the way, only pass side mount bolted)
Thanks

remove the other bolts on the mount...not the bolts that attatch the engine to the mount, but the bolts that attatch the mount to the frame
