Default Throwing TDC sensor CEL

Car is a 98 Honda Civic EX with a OBD1 B18B1 swap.

I'm currently throwing two codes.
-8 TDC Sensor (Top Dead Center)
-41 Primary Oxygen Sensor Heater

I'm not worried about the O2 sensor code, because I don't currently have my O2 sensor hooked up. Waiting on a PWJDM O2 wire extension.

I have looked around but the only info I have found for the TDC sensor is for OBD2 cars. Where is the TDC sensor located on OBD1 motors? And how can I go about testing it?

I have a feeling its in my dizzy, but I'm not sure. I just bought a remanufactured dizzy for my car not too long ago so I wouldn't think that's where the problem is coming from. Any info?

Agreed^. Measure the resistance of the TDC sensor. It should be 350-700 Ohms.

Checked the resistance of the TDC sensor today. I got 380 Ohms. There was a couple wires that were loose on my ECU jumper harness last time I looked at it, so I'll check that out when I get the chance and see what the loose wires go to. Hopefully that's why it's throwing code 8, otherwise I'm out of ideas.

The sensor sounds good, but the code can be thrown by a bad wire (open or short) or even a bad ECU. Use your multimeter to test the wires. Do this at the ECU connector.
