is it bad to run with no thermostat? i jus pulled out the middle piece becuz i jus changed my headgasket and i didnt wanna blow it again cus it wouldnt open at all !!!!

will this kill my waterpump? should i go get one right away??? what bolt sizes hold the t stat housing on????

just run a 180* thermo, i think the thermostat houing is 10mm bolts 3 of them? Not too hard to figure out NOOB.

will take awhile to warm up and might get warm because the water isn't absorbing any heat. Just spend $8 and buy a new one. Also, what was the reason for the head gasket? Overheat?

yup when i put in a different bad thermostat it didnt ope nand i blew my hg

no, you had to run hot for a while to blow it.

WELL YEAH I THOUGHT I HAD PUT A PERFECTLY FINE THERMOSTAT in but i didnt sorry for caps to lazy to edit lol....so basically the thermostat was stuck closed and i went on many long spirited drives and the coolant blew threw the headgasket cus it couldnt go anywhere else well thats my guess
