Electrical Idle Issues???
Anyone ever have any idle fluctuation issues while using power windows, or know how it could be solved?
I just noticed that my idle drops when i push the power window button and seeing as how i already have a slightly higher idle i would like to know wether theres a potential correlation...?

Re: Electrical Idle Issues???
nothing to worry about its just the power load / usage of the windows
as the ALT is providing power and thus load to the engine
dropping the revs slightly
If you are worried about it test your battery is in good order and that the ALT is charging correctly
If you are using an after market ECU this can also cause it if ELD is disabled
this is due to the stock ECU normaly ups the idle a bit to compensate as it sensors Alt load throught the ELD ( Electrical Load Detector )
