Default terrible gas milage

I have a 97 dx with a 2000 ex swap and I am going through a full tank of gas in two days. My check engine light is on. And it comes up as both of my o2 sensors are bad. Could that be the reason why? Thank you for looking.

if you do the work yourself I would recommend desno O2 sensors kinda pricy like 35+
I bought a cheap one 12$ that lasted a month and had to do the work 2x

or pay someone there "fun" to remove and the amount the shop charged me was worth the not having the aggravation

The primary O2 sensor is the one you need to replace - the secondary is just there to see if the cat is doing its job.

O2 sensor codes can show up at the drop of a hat, before you go throwing money at it, DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE.
