Targa top seals
how do i replace the seals on a targa top for my del sol? where can i get them? i also have a leak along where the window meets the roof... it that also the seals or do i jsut need to adjust the window to go up more?

Yea it is that expensive. Honda told me it was that much because it doubles as the gutter and seal. Best bet is to go to a junkyard.....even better bet is to get 1995+ seals as they were revised that year. There are two screws on the door jamb and two fasteners at the headliner. Otherwise, its just "pressed" on.

look up the how-to's on teamdelsol.com "tightening up the targa top" i did this and it stopped the leak on the pass side, but still dripped a little bit right on my knee.. so on the drivers side this is what i did:
if you take off your door panel but leave your connectors for the p.w. connected.. youll see two 10mm at the top of the door skin that serve as "stoppers" for the plastic on the regulator.
There is an adjustment if you look closely youll see 3 horizontal lines about 1/4" apart.. mine was all the way on the bottom..
Loosen the bolt, slide it to the top..tighten and test if it still leaks
I also lubed my seals at the same time as i did all this,, GL and welcome to the world of having a Sol
