Tanabe G-Power Medallion.....whats it worth???
I have had it on my car for a while and I want something quieter. It is no longer sold in the US, and is considered an excellent exhaust. Being that it's discontinued and made in Japan I figure its got to be worth something. The muffler has one small scratch on the bottom, otherwise its perfect.
Is anyone interested? What do you think I can get for it?

I bought mine used last November for $400CAN so around $250-275US. It was about a year old when I bought it and in good condition. You want something quieter? Its one of the quietest exhausts I've heard.

G-Power's aren't being sold in the US anymore? Why? Anyways, how much it's worth depends on how long you've had it on your car. Even tho the outside's fine, the internal materials eventually wear out from heat, so if you've had it for a "long time", like you said, it won't be worth as much. Anywhere from $200-$350. If you go higher than that, it's just too tempting for the buyer to go somewhere else and get a brand new one for a good price or have a custom one made. HTH. Oh, also, if they're discontinuing the import of the G-Power, are any other models affected (Hyper, DTM, etc.)? Just curious.

No idea why they stopped importing it. From what I've heard it is still being made in Japan though.
The exhaust is about 2 years old. It really is a beautiful peice.....especially the 3 peice oval tip, and the lazer engraved "Tanabe" logo.
I could actually feel it "open" up the car when I put it on. It flows very well! If anyone wants it let me know. It is for a 1992-1995 Civic Hatchback.
