Re: (Neebs)
im getting the cel for it. but Im still getting good gas mileage and acceleration is fine once it warms up.
When it's not warmed up it bogs a bit during acceleration.

Sigh..............................The computer reads the o2 in closed loop only. If u had a scan tool, you could see what the o2 is doing. Do u even know what your doing?

Re: Symptoms of bad 02 Sensor? (b18cEK)
ok I'm looking for a new O2 sensor for a good price, from what everyone says the factory one is the Denso 234-4011 which I found for $85 plus shipping. I am wondering of the universals will work just as good like Denso 234-4209 which can be had for $45 plus shipping
Has anyone gotten these and tried to just splice the wires? Anyone try a different brand and have good results? I did a search for O2 sensors and this is the cloese thread to the results that I am looking for, some feedback would be great, thanks

I just looked on that page and saw a universal part # 29415 for $29.85 and thats for the front, is that the one you got? there is a rear one part # 24546 for $139.85. If it's the universal one you got, don't you have to splice the wires? I don't mind doing that, just wondering if they work as well,
anyone else have two cents to share?

Hey, you don't have to re-drill and tap for the universal O2 sensors right? I thought you just needed to re-splice them, but my one friend is telling me different

Re: (homemadeturbo)
Many people said when you have a CEL code 1 you should replace the O2 sensor, but is there any other problem that means the engine is not healthy? O2 sensor detects the O2 from the engine. I also replaced an O2 but sometime is on also about once a month!
