i have a 94 del sol si, with the d16z6....im lookin to do a swap sometime in the future, but im not sure what direction i wanna go...im lookin for something that is going to be fast, but this car is also my daily driver, so i dont want it to be a track car...something that if i roll up to a stoplight and some neon is acting hard, i can blow him out of the water lol...maybe something that responds well to bolt ons as well

i know alot of you are smart when it comes to this, so i thought id ask

if your motor is in good shape, d16z6 motors can also be turbo'd. i would do a compression check or a leak-down test to see what the health of your motor is in. used parts from dsm's can be found in junkyards; 170 whp can be had for less than $1K. here's a list of parts you'll need:

hf manifold
adapter plate
t25/t28 turbo w/ internal wastegate (6-8 psi) *some eliminate this and weld shut*
downpipe
dsm blow off valve
dsm side mount intercooler
map by-pass
rising fuel fmu
piping and couplers
oil lines
vacuum lines
tap oil pan
*clutch/ flywheel
