would it be possible to put ek suspension on a eg
the reason i want to do this is because if i lower my eg about 2 to 3 i have some wear and thats even after getting an alinment
on the other hand my buddy has a ek that he lowered about 3 to 4 somewere in the alll i no is that its low and he doesnt have an alinement
so thats y im wondering if u can put ek suspension on a eg

If his car is lowered 3 to 4 inches he will have to have some alighment issues. Is is impossible to lower a civic more than about 1.5 inches without getting at least minor camber wear on the inside of your tires because civics(neither the EK or EG have camber adjustments from the factory. Your best bet is to get a camber kit for the front and rear, and get your car aligned. Good luck... 
P.S. Ek and Eg suspension are the same except for the bottom part of the rear struts which will not allow the rear struts to bolt on to the lower control arm between each model without making modifications.

Camber doesn't eat tires (at an exaggerated rate) ... toe does. As long as you can set your cross camber in spec and get your toe within the green, you're golden.

If you lower your car 3 to 4 inches...camber WILL wear tires on the inside at an exaggerated rate.

Seriously, I know people that run SLAMMED (like 3.5"+ drop) and don't eat tires. It's all about cross camber and toe.

lowering it that much will wear the inside of the tire, once that wears out just flip the tires around on the rim and you can wear out the tread on the opposite side.

You don't wear the inside of your tire AT ALL in comparison to the middle and outside of the tread? This is theoretically impossible. By lowering your car 3 inches you are giving your car negative camber, and the majority of the weight is being put on the inside of your tire. Therefore the outer part of the tire should not be wearing and should still have a lot of tread left when the inside of the tire is worn. Having proper cross camber has nothing to do with how far your tire will lean in or out...its the difference between the camber from the left to the right side. Even if your car has perfect cross camber you will (except in your case) wear the inside out faster than the outside. I agree that improper toe will cause tire wear, but I believe that the original poster is talking about wearing the inside of his tires out. Toe will not do that...it will however wear the tires awkwardly across the tread, because you will be "pulling your tire" slightly sideways down the road. I own brand new $20,000 JBC alignment machine...so I align 4 to 5 cars every day, and I have dealt with many kids in our area with wearing the insides of there tires out do to lowering their cars too much. Toe and proper cross camber has never fixed it. Only camber kits have ever worked for me.

I never said I didn't wear the inside faster. I said I don't eat tires.
Of course i wear the inside faster, but I've had the same set of tires for over three years on three sets of wheels. I don't have any excessive wear that I could blame on camber or otherwise.
I'm aware that you will wear one side faster .... but it's not at any rate that would make me realize out of the blue that half my tire is flat.

Are you talking about inside tire wear or overall tire wear? You need to be a bit more specific!
