Stiff First Gear?
When my car isn't exactly warmed up shifting into first is really hard, like it won't go in, i kind of have to wiggle it around a little bit to get it in, (i know, i know) but all the other gears are fine and go in smoothly.. My boyfriend says its my tranny fluid because it recently started doing this in the last month or so, it feels really "unsmooth" and rigid, but then she warms up and is fine. Does this sound like anything bad, or just old car problems?

I have the same car as you. And i get the same issues. I usually let her run for five minutes to warm up the tranny fluid before stabbing it into first. If you dont have that long to wait, then shift into second and then into first, it will help. If it still wont go do not, i repeat, DO NOT, force it in, you could bend your shift forks. If it is a true emergency then second gear that sled and ride the clutch up to speed.
Good luck friend.

Also, cold weather really makes the problem noticeable, because the tranny fluid is colder. Thats probably why you noticed it in the last month or so.
