Default Steering wheel twitches violentley :(

I all of the sudden got horrible vibration @ any speed and my steering wheel twitches violentley from side to side. I dont know if its the axle, mounts or wheel bearing. What would you think it is? I would post a video but I dont know how to upload avi. files.

does it do it on the gas and stop off the gas?
does it do it on the brakes?
does it do it at highway speeds?
what mph does it do it at and does it stop after a certain mph?

Typically, tires will make a car twitch if they need to be rotated/balanced or just replaced all together. If it does this when braking, you'll need to look at the rotors, they probably need regular maintenance. Or you could actually be unlucky enough to have issues with your axles or bearings, which would suck. I don't think a mount would be the problem, as it would be obvious if the mount was broken. They typically make loud cluttering sounds, especially after each shift, and usually a little power is lost to the wheels.

A tire will cause some twitching but a "violent" twitching may be an axle issue. I get it in the air and check things out.

I'll be money it's the tie rod ends. Replace them because most likely one of them has a bad ball joint.

I found out what it was. It seems I had a huge ball on tire. It was swollen and it was only in one place. WTF ?

Tire seperation, very common. Get new ones before it blows out.

I actually drove on this tire for like a whole day because my other car did not want to start. Kinda scary.
