Startproblem when hot (HONDA CIVIC 1500 EG435NP -92)
Hi
I have a HONDA CIVIC 1500 EG435NP -92 which runs great except for when it's hot (and sometimes humid, not comfirmed though) outside. So if it's hot outside and the car has not been driven that day it usually starts without a problem (sometimes it doesn't start at all when it's hot outside), but if I drive it for 10 minutes and stop at a shop to buy some food and then try to start it, it doesn't fire at all.
I then have to wait appr. 10 minutes for the car to "cool down" (i assume that).
The starterengine runs like a clockwork but you hear that the car is not fireing at all.
So my money is on some kind of sensor that is malfunctioning, what do you think ?

Re: (EKlum)
just buy the main relay for like 60 bucks give or take and just plug a new one in. in the meantime sometimes it helps to open up all the doors for a little while until it cools down in there. you could even unplug it and carry it with you then plug it back in before you start it... thats pretty good anti-theft too!

Re: (alleyezonme)
Haha ok that sounds good! So it's located inside the coupe ? Can you give me some advice on where to find it, a picture (link or something) would be much appreciated!
