Good question since I need to get rid of mine too. I belive you can just take out your cluster and disconnect it, but there might be a way to trick the system so it doesn't display the light too.

I'm pretty sure there is a 2-pin harness under the dash for the airbags, if you disconnect it the light may go off, or it might cause the light to go on too 
i would try. Also, what about the fuse under the dash for SRS? If all else fails I would just remove the bulb.

either this, or juss put black tape over the light, oh yea, read the link and if u leave a paper clip in the srs connector, it would stay off too.
