Default SRS and ABS Codes

Can Some One Add This to The CEL Stickies Main Body

I got them from a Helms At the Honda Dealer thay Let Me Spend the Day with there Library and there Photocopier


These codes can be Checked same as the CEL codes. useing a jumper wire on the 2 Wire connector in the green rubber holder Above the Passenger side Kick

ABS Codes

00 (No Light At All) Blown Back-Up/Meter Lights (10A) Fuse, Bulb, Poor Body Ground, Open/Cut Wire Between Fuse and Bulb or bulb and ABS Controler, ABS Controler Not Grounded, Faulty ABS Controler.

00 (Light Stays On) Blown R/C Mirror (7.5 A) fuse, Open Circuit Between The Under-dash Fuse/Relay Box And ABS Control Unit, Open Circuit Between The Battery And The Under-hood ABS Fuse/Relay Box, Blown ABS B2 (15 A) Fuse, Open Circuit Inside the Under-hood ABS Fuse/Relay Box, Open Circuit Between the Under-hood Fuse/Relay Box And The ABS Control Unit, Faulty Alternator, Open Circuit Between The alternator And ABS Control Unit,Short To Body Ground In The WARN Circuit Between The ABS Indicator Light And ABSS Control Unit Or Faulty ABS Control Unit

10 ABS Pump Motor Over-Run
12 Pump Motor
13 High Pressure Leakage
14 Pressure Switch
15 High Pressure System
21 Parking Prake
31 Pulser: Right Front
32 Pulser: Left Front
34 Pulser: Right Rear
38 Pulser: Left Rear
312 Different Diameter Tire Installed
41 Wheel Sensor: Right Front
42 Wheel Sensor: Left Front
44 Wheel Sensor: Right Rear
48 Wheel Sensor: Left Rear
50 Rear Wheel Lock: Right / Left
54 Rear Wheel Lock: Right
58 Rear Wheel Lock: Left
60 Fail-Safe Relay: Right / Left
61 Fail-Safe Relay: Front

To Clear ABS Codes

Remove the ABS B2 (15A) Fuse for At Leaset 3 Sec. to Clear ABS Controler Memory.


SRS Codes

00 (No Light At All) Faulty SRS Indicator Circuit
11 Open In The Driver's AirBag Inflator
12 Increased Resistance In The Driver's Airbag Inflator
13 Short To Another Wire In The Driver's AirBag Inflator Or Decreased Resistance
14 Short To Power In Driver's Airbag Inflator
15 Short To Ground in Driver's Airbag Inflator
21 Open In The Passenger's Airbag Inflator
22 Increased Resistance In The Passenger's Airbag Inflator
23 Short To Another Wire In The Passenger's Airbag Inflator Or Decreased Resistance
24 Short To Power In The Passenger's Airbag Inflator
25 Short To Ground In The Passenger's Airbag Inflator
51 Internal Failure Of The SRS Unit 2*
52 Internal Failure Of The SRS Unit
53 Internal Failure Of The SRS Unit

** SRS Unit May Discharge Airbag('s) Without Warning
1* Intermittent Internal Failure Of The SRS Unit Or Intermittent Failure In SRS Indicator Light. Do Troubleshooting For Intermittent Failures on all SRS Sub Systems.
2* If Multiple Codes Including 51 Are Indicated Troubleshoot All Code Except 51, Then Clear SRS Memory And Recheck SRS Indications. If 51 Doesn't Reappear, It Is NOT Necessary To Replace The SRS Unit.

To Reset the SRS Control Unit Memory

1. turn ignition switch off, remove MES service connector (Yellow 2 Pin Connector In Dummy Plug At Fuse Box) Note: Should be EZ to remove and have NO pins in the Socket it was pluged into. some fuse box's have two and one is for the power to the Controler and has a Lock type Connector that is Hard to remove.
2. connect (jump) the MES (Memory Erase Signal) connector (this is 2 pin connector wrapped on yellow plugged in the front of the underdash fuse box)
3. turn ignition switch on
4. SRS light will come on for 6 secs then go out, remove the jumper within 4 secs after the light goes out.
5. the SRS light will come on again, reconnect the jumper within 4 secs after the light has come on.
6. the SRS light will go off, remove the jumper with in 4 secs after the light has gone off.
7. the SRS light will blink 2 times indicating the memory is reset.
8. Turn the ignition switch to off and wait for 10 seconds.

need some help my srs lights is on but i don't know which yellow plug to unconnect?? the one that is hard to unplug or the other one i have three in my fuse box?? one of them isn't connected to any pins and the other is three and the last is the hard plug to unplug!

The two pin plug not connected to anything. Do not test any other safety wire

aite if that's so then it's the one with nothing attach to it and easy to unplug and plug in! in that case i did it turn on and off ignition switch but nothing work???am i doing something wrong do i need like a device to reprogram the SRS AIRBAG??

Not just a one time on and off. Follow the steps

Last time i couldnt get the code to go off, I ran my stitter car down a 4wheelin trail and wind up catching it on fire. The code went off now. cliff, gas, or a dozer usually takes care of the frustration caused by this annoying little light.

Trying to install a AP1 Steering Wheel in my 99 civic. Plugs are the same but still have the SRS light staying on.
