Just picked up a 99 EX Coupe with a blue top JDM H23A VTEC. I got it for real cheap considering it has function n form suspension, the swap, and a clean body plus a clean title. The issue I had when I first got it was the pump not priming and then i switched out the main relay and it ran great. Now a week later, I started having a problem. At an idle it'll fluctuate between 500 and 1.3K every second or so. Also when revving it sounds like 2 step constantly and there's no power. It's running a p28 ecu, and I'm not sure if it's tuned or on a basemap. All I know is that there's no cel, and the bulb is there; it's just running really shitty now. Oil is good, no overheating issues, but another thing to point out is it has an o2 sensor, but it's not hooked up at all. I don't know how to even diagnose this considering it's my first motor that's been converted from obd2 to obd1.
