Spoon caliper compatibility?
Hi,
I was wondering can you use the spoon calipers with stock civic dx 4 x100 brake assemblies? Also can you use them with the 4x 114.3 itr 96 spec assemblies? Thanks for the help

you can't use them with the civic DX setup, the spindel is a different size and you can't get a 11.1" rotor to mount up to the spindel so then you can't use that caliper.
You can do it with the 4x114.3 ITR suspension though since that spindel can accept a 11.1" rotor, and it shares the same spindel as the 5 lug ITR just a different hub

So it wont work with the stock civic or gsr hub and rotors?
But will work with the 96 spec ITR rotor and hubs without brakets and longer studs etc? I thought the gsr brake assembly shared teh same rotors as the 96 spec ITR rotor just different sized calips.
Let me know but thanks for the help so far i appreciate it :D

Re: (rukawa1one)
16'' rims are ok i plan on doing that anyways but yeah I am just not sure how to get it to work without having to upgrade to a 5 lug ctr or itr suspension... Cause if thats the case I would rather just get a different brand bbk that would be cheaper.

Re: (mdd)
no it will work with the fallowing.
94-01 integra RS/GS/LS/GSR
94-95- civic SI/EX WITH ABS
96- JDM ITR 4x114.3
Now as far as rotors go well the integra and civic you will need to get either some fastbrake honda 11.1inch rotor, or source your own.
for the 96 JDM ITR conversion you will need 93-97 (i think not sure on the generation) prelude vtec calipers and it will work. Spoon actually sold a conversion kit with these calipers, and some one had it for sale in the classifieds about 6 months ago
