Default Soft Brakes with A/C on

So I finally got my A/C charged and working good in my 93 Del sol with d15b7. I've noticed that with the A/C on when I push in the clutch and go to slow down that my brake pedal is very soft and almost feels like I have a bad master cylinder. But it doesn't do it when the A/C is turned off.

It sounds like a vacuum issue to me but maybe not. Do you all think it's a bad master cylinder or something else going on?

Air in the brake hydraulic system, a fluid leak, or a bad MC.

Does running the ac make those more noticeable? Because with the ac off they are just fine, they feel firm and stop just fine.

Yes. Having the A/C on would increase the engine rpms and thereby increase engine vacuum, which would exacerbate a brake system problem.

Ok thanks for the info. I'll start troubleshooting it.

A bad brake booster sir? a possibility, the booster is worn and cannot provide enough pressure.

This would cause a stiffer pedal, not a softer pedal.

I vote master cylinder
