hello guys..
i have an ek4(b16a2) with intake/header/exhaust and obd1 reprogram ecu and i am thinking to replace the intake manifold..which one is beter choise? worth skunk2 pro IM the extra money?? if i replace my stock TB with a bigger it will performs better? waiting for your advise... thanksss

The S2 pro will show better performance at high RPM over the stock unit. If you did the S2 IM w/ a portmatch TB and portmatched to the head that would be the best of any option. depends on how much money you wanna spend

personally, i call bs on their dyno. I would love for any person to take a p30 manifold powered b16A, dyno it, then swap the manifold and make those kind of numbers!!!!

That will all depends on what cams, header, exhaust, intake and other supporting mode you run with it as well.... not to mention the tune you put on it.

I would look into what that IM was put on. That looks like it was on a well built LSvtec, it was revving to 9k and making power to 8500, not to mention almost 200whp. that can be why they are showing such great gains.

what else do you want? tell us more about your build/future plans. I personally think unless you decide to build the head and run a set of cams it wont be worth the money.

i dont know if this is much help but i have a dyno book and it shows a stock b16a intake manifold made more power then alot of after market intake manifolds till the higher RPMs

thats what im trying to get at. unless you plan on building the motor to perform at higher rpm it is pretty much a wasted upgrade and waste of money.
