Default Size Matters..

Got some SI rims yesterday from a friend and was wondering if 205/50/15 would be the best size tire? My car is droppped. Also the rims I had on before were 17's. Do I need to get my car realigned? When I turn the steering wheel all the way something rubs and makes a sound almost like scratching...wondering if thats the problem.

205/50/15 is fine. When is the last time that you had your car aligned? Since it's "dropped" have you installed any type of camber adjustment?

I'd align it.

I have 205/50's on my Si's and love them. An alignment would be good just because.

That rubbing was/is those gigantic wheels/tires rubbing. You won't get that when you put the new wheels and tires on.

I got the rims on now, the tires are pretty worn so i'm getting new ones. The rubbing sound happens on the drivers side from tire whenever I turn the steering wheel all the way like turning or something like say ur doing a u-Turn and u turn the steering wheel all the way it makes some sort of rubbing/scratching noise. I'm guessing it's the fact that it needs to be realigned.

Doubt it. Any idea as to how low your car is?

pretty low. The previous owner cut the stock springs...******* idiot..now I need to buy new springs and shocks. I'm going Eibach Sportline springs with Tokico Illumina Adjustible shocks..the funny thing is I never heard that sound before with the 17 inch Enkei's..

After any wheel change or suspension adjustment/change, an alignment should be done...not only does it prevent worn tires, it also improves handling, traction, and braking.
