should i buy? 98 ex civic coupe

found a civic with 135k miles for 4900 and am curious if any of you can give me some helds up on what to look for and dos and donts when trying to buy one of these civics...any help would be greatly appreciated...TIA!

thats a high amount for a stock civic. anything done to it? i wouldnt pay over 3k
